It is a long climb that offers beautiful vistas of Tahoma (Mount Rainier) and the snow-covered peaks of the Cascade Mountains. Our Cayuse Pass tires roll fast, making it easy to stay with your group. Their superior comfort means you won’t suffer even toward the end of this 156-mile ride.

The supple casing of Rene Herse all-road tires rolls smoothly over surface irregularities. The tread pattern interlocks with the road surface for superior cornering grip, wet or dry. The tread has enough thickness in the center to last thousands of miles, but it’s thin and supple on the shoulders where it doesn’t wear.

The Standard casing is our more affordable option: comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse. The Extralight casing takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level.

The Cayuse Pass requires tubes. We recommend the SV15 or SV20 tubes.

The road takes you above the treeline. As you round Tipsoo Lake, you get the most spectacular vista of Tahoma (Mount Rainier) – especially in the morning, when the glaciers glow in the early sunlight.

We name our tires after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that inspire them: Stampede Pass is a small pass in the central Cascades. Climb the smooth gravel road, enjoy the great views from the top, then dive into the twisty descent with numerous hairpin turns. With the Stampede Pass tires, you can enjoy all-road performance on a road bike.

Named after a rugged ridge in central Washington, the Manastash Ridge uses our revolutionary dual-purpose knobby tread. A road-centric knobby? A dirt-ready road tire? You decide! At 48 mm wide, the Oracle Ridge hits the sweet spot between narrow gravel tire (38 mm) and mountain bike volume (55 mm) – ideal for the latest generation of gravel and all-road bikes.

We’ve developed the Oracle Ridge together with bikepacking legend Lael Wilcox, and we’ve named it after one of Lael’s favorite routes: Oracle Ridge is a beautiful gravel climb outside Tucson, AZ, which connects to the backside of Mount Lemmon for an ultra-fast descent on pavement.

On the gravel climb, this tire grips tenaciously thanks to its large and widely spaced knobs. On the descent,  it corners like a slick thanks to its large and strategically placed knobs that don’t squirm and always put the same amount of rubber on the road.

The Oracle Ridge features our noise cancellation technology: The staggered tread blocks create overlapping noise frequencies that partially cancel each other. The Oracle Ridge’s speed, grip and lack of noise make you forget you’re riding a knobby – until you hit some loose or muddy ground and appreciate the extra grip.
